José Álvaro Osorio Balvin, known professionally as J Balvin, is a Colombian reggaeton singer. Balvin was born in Medellín, Colombia. At 17 he moved to the U.S and was quickly influenced by the music there. Living in oklahoma and New york city helped him to learn english along with american music. He then returned to Medellín and gained popularity performing at clubs in his hometown. His style of music and voice gained popularity both with his hometown and here in america. As of recent though we have grown to know J Balvin in another aspect of his life and career.

Thanks to a growth in social media in the celebrity community we learned that J balvin is also a trendsetter and fashionista in his own respect. As someone who’s up-to-date with the latest trends and whose style is on point and popular, it only made sense to drop a fashion collection: and that’s exactly what Balvin did during the 2018 Colombiamoda. Dropping the news via Instagram The Colombian singer debuted as a fashion designer during Fashion Week in Medellin, presenting his new collection for the clothing brand Gef France called “Vibras by JBalvin x GEF”. Starting from about $4 a tote bag to $45 hoodies, the collection includes vibrant T-shirts, joggers, shorts, bodysuits, crop tops, and accessories such as hats, socks, and fanny packs, most things we have seen the artist rock himself with his personal wardrobe. Seemingly his style and stand out fashion sense has worked for him and as any Balvin fan can attest to, the singer has not only helped usher in a new sound for reggaetón, he’s also updated its look.

Now Balvin is no stranger to the fashion world and has been spotted at many fashion events like mens paris fashion week 2020 and even walked in the Christian dior summer 2020 show. In 2016, he was spotted at the Rochambeau Spring Summer 2017 and later at the "Chanel Collection des Metiers d'Art 2016/17: Paris Cosmopolite" along with another fashion inside and artist Pharell williams. In other news the Colombian chart-topping reggaeton artist becomes the first Latin artist to be selected by The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) as an ambassador. Balvin will serve as one of the celebrity ambassadors for the annual New York Fashion Week Men's during its upcoming season (Jan. 30 to Feb. 2).
More than ever, men are pushing the boundaries and going all out with their style choices and at this year's Paris Fashion Week Men's this couldn't be more true. From out-of-this-world accessories to electrifying ensembles, there wasn't a basic outfit in sight. There was a long list of celebrities ofcourse but many male artists have captured our attention more than ever in fashion as of recent. Included in that list of celebrites was ofcourse J Blavin, who showed up with vibrant rainbow hair and an all black outfit casual but elegant to show off the hair choice. Maluma , Ricky martin , Joe Jonas, Miguel, Quincy Brown and Charles Melton who are budding fashionistas were also in attendance.
I believe that balvins popularity will continue to grow as well as his skillset and keen eye for fashion. Quickly becoming one of my favorite style icons personally, I think his brand is one of the things the mens fashion world needed. Often men will not step out of their comfort zone to dress any more different than they have known or grown comfortable with, but I see a change in that mindset more and more when artists like Balvin and many others create the lane for us to be comfortable standing out in. Im looking forward to what Mens fashion holds for us all and will stay on top of it so that I can share my versions and ideas of them with you!
Thanks for reading guys and gals share/ Book/ comment / like Until next week !!
